This week’s theme is personal courage. I recently had Evan Mawarire on my podcast, where he discussed his amazing story of accidentally taking on the dictator of his country of Zimbabwe. And he WON!
He was just a regular guy, a pastor, father, and husband, who couldn’t afford to pay for his little girl’s kindergarten. His frustration led him on a journey that began with a simple act of posting a video online, and it evolved into a national movement that challenged the status quo.
He was locked up in a maximum security prison facing an 80-year sentence when he was beaten by guards, and at one point, he escaped the country in the middle of the night.
Evan’s story is one of courage, leadership, and transformation, both politically and personally.
Get ready for a conversation that challenges, enlightens, and motivates us all to take a stand for a better tomorrow.
